General Stories in Motion Policies
(Policies may vary from location to location)
Refunds: Full refunds are available after the first week of classes minus the new family registration fee. No refunds are issued after the second week of classes, except in the case of emergency.
Late registration: Students may join the program after the 1st week if space is available. The fee will be pro-rated and include the new family fee.
Bounced checks: There is a $25 returned check fee.
Make-up Classes: Each student in the Dance with Me classes are entitled to 2 make-up classes during the session. Make-ups must be taken during the current session and may not run over to the next session.
Please leave a message on our voice mail indicating which class you will be attending for a make-up. We will call back only if the class is TOO FULL, otherwise just assume you can come.
Sibling participation: Siblings under 8 months are free in the Dance with Me classes. Siblings over the age of 8 months who attend classes on a regular basis must enroll in the program.
Kids Dance Classes: Parents of children in the Kids Dance program are encouraged to participate if the child has difficulty with separation, but are then asked to leave once the child is feeling comfortable and secure in the class.
Make-up Class: Children in the Kids Dance program are entitled to one make-up class in a comparable aged class. Please call to reserve a make-up class. No make-up classes are allowed during the last 2 weeks of the session.Behavior: Children whose behavior is considered excessively disruptive or dangerous to other children will be asked to leave the program. Parents will receive a refund for the remainder of the classes.
Children in the 2 1/2 - 5 yr old classes may also make-up a class in any of the Dance with Me classes with a caregiver.
