Come enjoy a delightful and creative class with your littlest one! Class includes movement exploration using rhythmic instruments, hands-on learning with dance props and puppets, story time, movement exploration and lots of fun partner and group dances!.

DROP IN & ROMP!
Drop in to our beautiful studio for open dance time! Come play with all our cool stuff- dance props, instruments, dress up and more! Snacks available! Drop off age- 3 1/2+. Children younger than 3 1/2 yrs must be accompanied by a caregiver.

FAMILY & TODDLER DANCE
STORIES IN MOTION'S SIGNATURE CURRICULUM!
Children experience the joy of movement, dance making and storytelling in a creative, and non-competitive learning environment. Stories come to life through dance rhymes, big books, storyboards and puppets. Dance props, music and rhythm instruments are integrated into each class. An open and supportive environment for different ages and developmental stages. Parents or caregivers actively participate in the class. Experience the joy of dance-play!

BROADWAY/HIP HOP PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
Experience two different dance genres with one of our most dynamic master teachers: Lauren Eras. Other faculty member will visit as guest artists! Learn the newest moves and create your own Broadway/Hip Hop dances. Emphasis on improvisation, body isolations, rhythm, combinations & solo and group choreography. Class will culminate in a group performance of works choreographed by the teacher and students. Performance location to be announced.

CREATIVE DRAMA
This imaginative class will include dramatic play, story enactment, imagination journeys, and fun theatre games. Students will expand their imaginations and confidence through pretend play. Stories come to life through dramatic play and exploration!

CREATIVE TAP
Classes will emphasize rhythm, style and sound. Students will study basic tap steps, combinations and rhythms with an emphasis on developing tap technique while exploring creative ways to combine tap steps.

PERFORMANCE BALLET
This class is geared towards more advanced students who are ready for performance opportunities. Students will work on teacher and student created creative ballet choreography to be performed at the end of each session. Performance location to be announced! Students must have had prior dance training to be in this class.

CREATIVE BALLET
Explore the magical world of ballet through playful exploration of ballet vocabulary, dance props, costumes and the stories of the world's greatest Ballets. A wonderful introduction to the fundamentals of classical ballet. Emphasis is on creative expression and mastery of dance skills.

RED RAINBOW
Red Rainbow is a new creative and unique enrichment experience for Pre K - Elementary ages. This is an ideal program for Kindergarten enrichment! A partnership of STORIES IN MOTION, MATH FOR LAUGHS, and other local arts and educational programs, together we provide an integrated, dynamic experience for children to get them charged up to explore and appreciate their world, and open their minds and hearts to a lifelong love of learning.

JOURNEY DANCE
Children will explore, and express themselves through dance in the exhilarating movement experience of Journey Dance. Creative movement exploration linked to stories and universal themes guide children to become fully present in their bodies, release trapped emotions and self-judgment, access inner power and celebrate their spirit.

RHYTHM JAM
Join our most exuberant teacher Ralston Morris in a class combining rhythm and dance! Explore Afro-Caribbean and Latino rhythms in a dynamic and energetic way. Class will include movement exploration, rhythm activities, group drum circle and improvisation.

STORY DANCE
Leap! Whirl! Jump! Roll! Children expand their range of movement vocabulary in a creative and playful manner through movement exploration, improvisation and choreography. Stories are integrated into each class and become the basis for imaginative dance making.
